Pale ruby in color; cherries, oak, and raspberries on the nose; high acidity; medium; tastes like cranberries, pomegranates, and wet gravel with a long fruity finish. None of the herb flavors I've had in other chiantis I've had, but still really good. Great for the price! Pleasant and easy to drink. Nellie says it's ok.

I only smell the alcohol upon swirling, and noticed the very tightly packed legs on the side of the glass. Very mild and gentle body with notes of berries that are also mildly floral. Not mad at this for the price- similar to the price you’d actually pay in Italy.
