A really subtle, yet gratifying scotch whiskey. Light, floral, honeyed notes but there was a certain quality about it that was palpable. Reminded me somewhat of the Balvenie 17 Rum Cask

Glenfiddich Gran Reserva 21yr - Light, sweet nose. Short pour which might affect. I’m getting a bit of plastic on the flavor. Sweet, light finish.

Rum cask. Far from the herbal, fresh mown grass of the 12 year G'fiddich. Interesting spice and sour attack, like tom yum soup of whisky!?

Extremely smooth and clean without a doubt. Nice balance, very good nose....but it lacks character and depth to it.
