Bricking not just on rim. Nice translucent red with accents of brown. Nose is quite pungent with typical rose but also dark fruit. On palate has noticeable prune on opening, which belies the hot vintage. But good acidity and good depth with some nice grip. Quite pleasing. With a bit of time it loses the pruney notes and is getting more complex. Definitely not too old but clearly from a hot vintage. Pretty good although not best Rinaldi by a long way.

Daddy likey. Great acidity. Ripping tannins that didn't cut too deep and that dissipated after a short decant. That gave way to a delicious pure strawberry rhubarb fruit. Yum! Can't wait to try this again now or with 3 years on it.

#1995 #Rinaldi #Barolo at #ElevenMadisonPark ... #Cheers Unfortunately this bottle was sleeping I believe. It was flat. I want to try another of this vintage in another 5 years & see where we are then... It Was still cool to taste and drink... 🍷❤️. But it's on hiatus at the moment 😴😴😴
