Milk chocolate, marshmallow, sweet currant. Gorgeous. Silky smooth. Stunning wine, so unique. Art in a bottle.

2011. 9.5+. A bombshell; best wine I’ve had all year. Completely seamless and mouth-filling. Outstanding balance between gobs of funky dark Amarone-like fruit and firm tannins, without being plummy. So many complex flavors that evolve over an eve and a very long aftertaste. So good at this stage but has many more years left. $85 at Pluckemin.

Delicate and very perfumed soft lush with good backbone of acid. Tangerine sweet sour thing going on. Very interesting.
