First time I try it and I’m loving it! Gives you all of the corvina dried fruit characteristics but it’s lighter and fresher at the same time, with some red fruit and acidity. I guess the ripe vintage (and plenty of declassification) makes the $75 “entry level” wine even better!

Nigrar - is the best place of Valpalichella blend. Very cunning fragrance, tannins are round, long aftertaste. Secondary and tritical features of the scent - Black berries, pepper, plum bone , oak bark, nettle, menthol. Grate wine, well integrated making it a special occasion pleasure.
