Deep reddish tawny, a bit lighter and more translucent than the 78 Monprivato next to it. Aromatic, aged-Barolo type nose. Notes of red and black fruit, roses, tea, a little soy sauce and some wood. Silky in the mouth. Coats the palate. Still has some pucker. Really liked this.
