Double infusion of quinine, sign me up. Also scented with rhubarb, chiretta flower and what seems to be a good dose of wormwood or artemisia. Medium bright mahogany color, intense bitter herb, floral and even red fruit aromas. Deliciously bitter.

A gorgeous iodine color. The nose gives of juniper, quinine, wormwood, clove, and old spice. When I smell it I’m transported back 100 years thinking this had to be medicinal at some point in history. The effect on the palate is amazing. More clove with mulled spices, coriander, cardamom, juniper and bitters that linger into the finish. Drink it sparingly as an aperitif.
