From a magnum. Aromas of candied red fruit, rose petals and dried herbs. The palate is plush with notes of dried cherries, jalapeño pepper, those dried herbs and toasted oak. Long and smokey finish. Medium-plus body and smooth tannins. A bit light on acidity. Rustic and juicy. Solid QPR. Appreciate you sharing this one, Chris B!

This is lovely. Lots of fruit but not overly sweet. Some vanilla overtones. Dangerously easy to drink.

Starts off a bit tight like a Chianti but opens up really nicely. A bit of fruit. Reminds us of those great Italian house reds you get at restaurants in Rome or Florence.
