Serralunga d'Alba Barolo Nebbiolo

Ruby with a bouquet of fruit, spices, leather, oak and chocolate, aged for 30 months in oak. On the palate flavors of cherry and ripe strawberry with notes of pepper, smoky tobacco and cacao. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins ending with earthy sweet notes. Good now!

Floral, ripe, up front, woody but juicy, lovely

Firm tannins, dark earth and soil, delicate nose, eucalyptus and anise

Very generous bright fruit, wonderful balanced acidity.

Certainly on the more elegant side of the Barolo spectrum. Showing a bit more than it was this past fall. Best yet to come.

Dried cherries, tar, dried roses.

Huge upside to this. Hold.

Full fruit and lovely. Enjoyed a 2007 with duck.

Decanter first for at least an hour
