2008 vintage. Plusher side of Barolo. Black plum, blackberry, dried cranberry, tart cherry, lingonberry, anise, marjoram, black rocks, dried red and pink flowers, walnut skin. Structure still in good shape and seems like it would be little-changed for another 5-7 years. Fairly good quality and represents a darker fruit profile spectrum of Nebbiolo, just seems a little blocky and less elegant.
