A favorite but a baby. Some cherry, candied fruit, tobacco and spice.

Classic Nebbiolo notes here. Double decanted and is really showing a very pretty side. Slightly bretty, all class. Very approachable indeed.

Ridiculous florals. Tasted like mint wrapped roses and geraniums

Ruby transparent wine, blackberry, dried plum, black cherry, floral notes, licorice. Big black cherry, pepper, earthy, high tannin, bold, full body wine. Medium plus alcohol. Give it another 10 years--still super young to drink.

Fuck me! Why did I open this again. So crazily delicious. My go-to Barolo producer.

A Barolo to find and hold. Picture perfect in the decanter (3hrs). A Sunday wine, like a perfectly braised lamb shoulder. Getting better as it breathes. The nose is all Barolo. Complex dark fruit. Spice. Pepper. Cherries. It attacks the palate and then immediately softens with a blackberry finish that leaves the perfect amount of heat behind. The tannins are integrated and silky and suggestive of a long life ahead. This minuscule production wine is amazing and you should fight to find it. I was sad when we finished the bottle.
