A good red. Light, slightly bubbly but nice finish. As it goes down smoothly there is a bit of a sweet taste.

Jan 17th, 2016LOVE the "Gina" wines!! This, however, is dry. Chianti = dry red wine. I'm not a fan of dry, however this is not bad. I HATE dry and "oaky" wine but there's always a way to salvage a wine. If you're not a fan of the wine you're drinking, here's a tip: add a "Chardonnay," (any Chardonnay, even cheap) wine to the wine you're drinking and it makes almost any wine.....SO MUCH more palatable. This Chianti is good, I just can't drink it without having the aforementioned assistance. 👍🏼

2011 Chianti. Straightforward Sangiovese character, a little tannin at first. Red berries including cranberry, becomes mellow almost chocolate-merlot like. No fireworks but quaffable - especially at $6.75 from BevMo!

OK... I'm sure some of you have heard of the sale at BevMo. At first, this made me feel like a sucker... After open for a long while... A nice glass of wine. Some unique fruity berry and licorice flavors in there ...
