This week for #winewednesday we thought we’d get into some NZ wine as a warm-up to seeing my parents this weekend. I thought this bottle of ‘The Brothers’ 2016 Chardonnay from @giesenwines would go down a treat. $17 a bottle.

In the glass it’s a pale sunshine yellow shade. The nose is full of creamy oak, melon, pear and a hint of camomile. While in the mouth it’s smooth and juicy with flavours of spiced pears and apricots. Highly enjoyable and it looks good up against my ‘Kiwi Catwalk’ pic!
