Light fruit with raspberries, apple and currants. Earthy and smoky notes follow. Finish combines a bright acidity with dry tannins. Easy to drink.

Nose is immediately savory and leathery. I would think rioja except for the light, translucent color. Palate at first is tight and tannic, but opens up over time into a delicious cedar box that finishes with
well balanced tannin and acidity. Fruit? Dark and unobtrusive. Oak? I guess that's where some of the fragrant wood comes from. Day 2 nose is
spicy new leather, with some menthol. Love it. Palate is textured and crisp.
