Quite good. Though a high Al wine, nicely balanced. Rustic earthy leathery profile. More like a barolo than a lighter young langhe Nebbiolo. For $27, a good value buy again.

2015 I wish I let it stand for more than 2 hours … fantastic as time went on… sorry it finished!

Maybe I should’ve paid a little bit more attention to this wine. It was a little bit one dimensional Nebbiolo. I find Nebbiolo either overpowering or perfectly balanced. This one seem to be a little overpowering but maybe it just required to open up a bit more. Medium to heavy body on the nose and taste notes of grilled meat, leather and mead.

Delicious fruit hits the palate first followed by smooth tannins, excellent table and cooking wine, need more bottles
