A nice and easy drinking red Italian wine. Showing red fruits with black pepper, wood, earth light vanilla and licorice.

Tastes like a mixture of new and Old World. Very approachable, good for everyday and good for parties.

Nice finish with soft tannins.

comes in a nice boxed package, which is nice.

A tasty wine.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

87 Points.

$15.

What a delicious wine with blackberry and cherry flavors. Beautiful purple color, full bodied. Not sure what kind of grape this is but from doing a little research it's from southern Italy and the grapes are dried a certain way after harvest. It's a very elegant wine I love it!

Inky garnet purple in the glass. Nose is shy on opening but opens up to dark purple fruit compote. Echoed on the huge-bodied palate with dried fruit notes (naturally) and medium tannins that come through on the long, dark finish. Medium minus acidity along the lines of an Amarone (again, naturally… it’s a great, less costly alternative), limiting its food choices but they’re there. Try it with a heavy pizza or pasta dish, or osso bucco. Cigar smokers might enjoy this with a Churchill.
