May 29th, 2018Скукожившаяся, чуть подтёкшая пробка. В аромате легкая летучка, возрастные, развитые ноты, повторяющиеся во вкусе. Сухие цветы, мягкая слива, спелая вишня, мятая клюква, грибы, смола, тонкие специи, кожа, земля. Заметная кислотность, интегрированные танины. Насыщенно и выразительно, объёмно в бокале, без большой элегантности, с чуть дряблым мышечным тонусом.
Скукожившаяся, чуть подтёкшая пробка. В аромате легкая летучка, возрастные, развитые ноты, повторяющиеся во вкусе. Сухие цветы, мягкая слива, спелая вишня, мятая клюква, грибы, смола, тонкие специи, кожа, земля. Заметная кислотность, интегрированные танины. Насыщенно и выразительно, объёмно в бокале, без большой элегантности, с чуть дряблым мышечным тонусом.
Apr 15th, 2018Decanted for 3 hours before dinner and was very nice: tannins and acidity held up to a steak very nicely. All the nice Barolo features; leather, tar, dark fruit, anise. Saved half for the next day with lunch. Softer tannins of course, mushroomy (truffle even), reminds me of why I love Nebbiolo.

Nov 29th, 2016Another treat from the CWFF. Someone had mentioned leather in their descriptives, and I believe that is one of the best on this wine. When you take the tannins and add in the medium earth background, that is what you get.
