Much lighter in color & weight compared with other Borgogno Riservas tasted at our Nebbiolo fest; other vintages like 1961 & 1952 surpassed it but still showcased classic Old Barolo traits of Rose petals and reduced tar.

A real treat and so much life left at age 50! Yes, lots of dry prune but still very good acidity that will allow it to hold for probably another 10 years or so, if stored correctly. Aged Barolo is definitely one of the great wine drinking experiences.
