Delicious, juicy black fruit and a structured med- frame / bramble with a supporting acidity and crushed rock minerality / classic & humbly sophisticated, while also being pastoral & convivial / almost a cru beauj thing going on

Floral nose. Bright tannins and acid-forward. Cherry skin. Mineral and expected lightness for a Dolcetto. Paired well with cod and Brussels sprouts. From Orleans wine shop.

Good density with little rim variance. Palate is straight forward with long deep black berry/raspberry tones and a touch of subtle earth/mushroom. Little tannin and lightly structured. Juicy and robust overall. Piedmont's version of a porch pounder. Opened 3/7/15

First time to have a wine from this producer. Was excited but really wanted more from this. Tired and just like thin blackberry juice.
