Lovely Barolo. Perfect drinking window right now. More towards a burgundy compared to what I am used to. Very much rose hip and dried roses in the nose and taste. Nice acid and well integrated tannins. Brilliant wine 🤩

On the nose, rose pedal, wet bricks and leather. Some orange peel and gravel as well. Super delicate, good acidity, soft velvet tannin. I drank the 16’ langhe the other week and wow is this so much softer and more Burgundian. Super interesting and finessed. Lovely Barolo. Even for a lesser year.

V14. Dusty, raspberry and cedar nose. Rich, bright black cherry fruit. Smooth, deep, tight leather finish . Very nice, great food wine.
