Do Ut Des Verduno Pelaverga

Pelaverga is a rare grape from Piedmont and there are currently only about a dozen winemakers working with the grape. An easy drinking wine with strawberry, black pepper and a touch floral. Despite its lightness, this wine benefits with some breathing time

Anyone know what's up w this? Starts out w a lovely red fruited nose, but then all sour and acid.

What a find on Long Island! It hints of super balanced Beaujolais - but it's all Piemonte.! A super value that gives similar wines a run for their money!

A very special wine from what I understand is a very rare grape. Gentle fruit without tannins but a surprising background of all spice and pepper. Perfect with a light tomato-free pasta dish.

Nice light summer red.

Super light and easy to drink, but not a whole lot going here. A bit too flat for me...was expecting more from a wine from this region.

Light, fruity, airy

Total gem--a stranger to the varietal. Robust but not cloying. Some fun jagged black pepper upon the finish. $20. Purchased at WW. (Paired w/carbonara)
