Light old gold with a very fine mousse. Ridiculous amounts of teeny tiny bubbles throughout. Yes I know this is their entry level bottle but the classics are classics for a reason. Plenty of citrus fruit, freshly baked brioche, and green apples all over the nose. You can call this an easy drinking champagne but that doesn’t make it boring or ordinary. It really is a very good bottle of bubbles. A streak of creaminess runs through with a terrific amount of fruit. Very dry with plenty of nuttiness on the palate and more citrus fruits on entry. The briefest tinge of smoke and caramel tantalize until the long finish. My kind of champagne and I didn’t even mention just how cute this bottle is.
