Showing that Gevrey Chambertin earth and muscle (even though ended up being a Charmes which gets a little less sun than Le Chambertin to its north). My notes: Cherry, Liquorice, Tar; palate staining intensity - sweet, picked later in the season? Quantity produced down as Gevrey C hit hard by the frosts. Liked this a lot.

This wine is amazing and a real find for its $$$
This was highly recommended from my JJ Buckley rep. Lots of red fruits , mineral and spice with good structure and balance, reaching its peak drinking window and will drink well for many years. This has everything you look for in Burgundy for half of the price($76) Highly recommended!

Sadly my last btl of 2 cases where again this btl over delivered offering up copious amounts of black cherry, berry fruits with sweet almost Leroy like spices, mineral & violet. I wish I could find more wines that drink this well at this $$$. Consistent with my many prior notes
