Clos de Beaujeu Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

A richer Sancerre with deep fruit tones and softer mineral profile. Not laser-etched like most this has some weight behind it and the acidity takes a backseat to the richness.

Took on pretty secondary citrus flavors 30 minutes out of the fridge. Very convincing Sancerre.

Nice acid, rich gold color, toasted caramel, and green apple

So this is what real SB look like? Pithy, slatey. Grapefruit.

One of my favorite whites of recent. Many parts that all settle in together. Rocky minerality, pronounced acidity, slight funk, flint, damp basement.

Reminds me of stone being sculpted, chiseled minerality on the palate. A touch hot, pineapple juice and lime zest, long griping finish.

Really liked this Sancerre with lemon caper chicken and kale salad. Great pairing! Great wine!

Smells like mint, thyme, eucalyptus, great acid and clean palate. Who knew Sauvignon Blanc could be so good? Better than 2014 Cotat Monts Damnes.
