Takes a while to open up, fine after that, slightly dry and a quick finish.

Much more food friendly than I expected with the Syrah the prominent varietal. Pairing with chicken stir fry and enjoying.

Solid wine, strong fruit, and peppery on nose. Tannins a bit rough but nice lingering finish.

Dark ruby in color with an orange rim.

Nice nose of red currants, cherries, earth, blueberries, vanilla, oak, and black pepper.

Full bodied and balanced.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, cherries, blueberries, dirt, musk, tar peppercorn.

Medium finish with round tannins and nice legs.

15% percent alcohol by volume.
WE 91 points.
Nice GSM from France, well balanced with a nice mouthfeel.

Grenache leads the way with raspberry fruited spice, Syrah gives it body and weight, not sure I can pick the carignan. Was the second of my inflight tipple.

Very deep colour, meaty and earthy nose with smoke and animal tones. Complex, jammy, warming alcohol, concentrated plummy dark fruit and structured tannins. Intensive length. 90p

Definitely showing its southern France roots, this rusty reddish brown wine just calls out from warm climates. At bit too raisiny Syrah for my tastes.
