Lots of cherries. Spices, chocolate and some herbs. Sweet tannins in a very good wine. Muita cereja madura, com especiarias, chocolate e um toque herbal. Taninos bem redondos em um belo vinho.

Drinking beautifully now with a slight brick-red hue, this dense, savoury blend (Syrah, Carignan, Mourvèdre) features notes of fig, orange zest and tobacco leading onto dried herbs and meat. The finish is long and dry but leaves the palate with a refreshingly floral aftertaste. Inviting and well-balanced.
Update: on second day, and left open for 8 hours, the wine is at its best.

Red fruit, floral, spices, herbs and a little pencil shavings. Good, not great.
