Nice pepper and current flavor. Enjoying with some cheeses and olive oil and bread. Tannins are well balanced with the fruit. I’m a big fan of Malbec so I might be biased but this is a very tasty wine.

Wanted to give it a shot because you really get to have a Malbec from France these days. This one was a little too heavily oats for my flavor, the aforementioned oaken vanilla flavor is coming through strongly and sort of obscuring what is otherwise a very strong grape. Did get the rich and spicy flavors of Malbec, along with a decent structure but the vanilla just needs to mellow out a bit on this one.
