Beaujolais-Villages Gamay

Sour cherry, sour raspberry. High acidity, lots of fruit!

This is one of my favorite Beaujolais that I like in between the release of the annual Beaujolais Nouveau.

A white wine drinkers red wine. Fresh fruit aromas covering the berry/cherry spectrum. Not too lolly - a "serious" Beaujolais. Refreshing and just the ticket in an Aussie summer at the beach!

i did not chill this as others above have recommended. To me, this was an almost tasteless Pinot Noir with the dark color of the Burgundy that it is.

Pale garnet red. Moderate intensity, aroma: red flower, fruits, wet stone, anise. Dry, med+ acid, sorta watermelon monthfeel ( juicy ) short finish. Very good price.

Mild, quite nice to share amongst a group. A general pleaser, nothing special but nothing distasteful.

Distinct musty aroma on the nose, but in a pleasing way. Fruity on the palate, but the earthiness remains.

Bright and fruity with medium acidity, soft to moderate tannins and a little bit of bitterness.
