Beaujolais Gamay

I feel like most of the tasting notes and scores for this wine are slightly unfair or unjust. People drinking a youthful #Beaujolais 3/4 years after vintage? That’s not a great idea, if it’s any good 4 years later, then that’s an amazing testament to its quality. This is Uber intense in the nose, but honest, rich and candy like red fruits. I think this would go bonkers with turkey cranberries and stuffing.

Dried strawberries wild fruit cranberry - the flavor and finish is a little disjointed

Gritty and earthy, light hints of red fruits and light texture on the pallet.

Did not like the finish. Light and somewhat fruity. Very one note. Got better as I drank it 😉

It’s summer. It’s juicy. It’s delicious. At nearly two years old, for this style, it’s impressive.
