Ancestral California Red Blend

This is a basic but serviceable weeknight red. Jammy and a little on the sweet side.

Red blend - fruit forward, but perhaps not ripe fruit. Did not seem full bodied.

This is a decent week night red! It’s fruity and a little sweet! Don’t over chill as it tastes better if it’s a little warmer! My cooler is set at 54! That’s too cold for this as the fruit was released as it warmed up

We liked it. I’d buy this for a easy weekday bottle.

Good smooth red blend.

Wow, this is a huge, spicy, smoky delicious red blend. Gen5 nailed it! Tremendous fruit, smoky peppery nose and wonderfully balanced with a touch of acid and tannins. Tasted it against the Cupcake Black Forest Decadent red, which is very good, but had the misfortune of being tasted with the Gen5.

Very smooth & drinkable even without food. I really liked this one.

Not our favorite, tastes better with food.
