Should have opened it early and decanted - or better yet, hid it under a floorboard for a good ten plus years. Tightly wound tannins which come out swinging. Yet, with hints of the promised land to come in its youthful (?) bluster.

Drinking with Mom & Dad for Christmas 2023. Color is garnet with that hint of orange that you know it will age beautifully. This is 2019, so 4-ish years old. Nose is tannic and tobacco with dark red fruit. It is 14% alcohol and you can feel it when you first drink. Tannins are right there and it is dark cherry and that dryness we love about Barolo! Definitely delicious but expensive at $80. Very good. Would definitely drink again
