Excellent. It was great to start. Opened nicely in only 30 minutes. Gave it a long decant based on many of the reviews here. Personally and for this bottle seemed to peak early. 90 minutes to two hours. Was still great in hour 4 though. Smooth and luxurious mouth feel. Great grip.

2 hour decant but needed more. Closed at first then opened up in the glass. Rose, olive, spice, with silky texture. Understated for Gaja.

2000 Gaja Sorì Tilden Langhe Nebbiolo. ELO at HB w J&H R and Leon. Thought it drank great- not as big as the '01 Sassicaia, which it followed, but really enjoyable to drink on its own, without food.

Sep 11th, 20162000 Gaja Sori Tildin Langhe Nebbiolo. Second red at Heart. Interesting to drink this after the 1985 Clos de la Roche. This wine is 15 yrs younger and much bigger. Strong, "masculine" wine that we all really enjoyed. Totally different from the one prior, but great.
