2009, Gaja has such an amazing reputation for innovation and quality, no exception here, a truly robust and good wine, but needs more time to mature.
The wine has a deep red almost black color, a tempting nose rich with black current, black cherries, chocolate, a touch of bell peppers and spice, a full body, with firm tannins that need a few more years to soften, a lovely acidity to sport the next decade if not more, and a long lasting delicious finish.
