Barolo Nebbiolo

Very pretty and a whiff of decay. . Lovely nose. Short but pretty. Cherries and tobacco- a sweetness on the front. Older stuff too. A fun bottle.

A reticent nose but not dead . With some time it opened up with leather , forest floor, florals and balsamic scents. Another wine with more than adequate acid to allow a wine to go the distance.
Red fruit , earth and coffee all neatly preserved for 60 years.

About the wine: Cherry. Eucalyptus. Spice. Smooth graceful finish. Cheers to my 25th anniversary of my 21st birthday! 🍷

On the way down, but granny’s got legs

Amazing.

Slightly cloudy with a madeirized quality. Beautifully settled with tea and clarity. There’s something really special and delicate about this. A bit haunting. A dying breed of bottle. Delicious

Started very tight. Opened up with a little meat and had nice acidity with a good cherry finish.

Awesome. Everything it should be.
