Love this style and Chateauneuf du Pape in general. Animale nose (but no Brett!). Also Raspberries Blackberries Earth and Thyme. Sweet red berries on palate with grainy tannins and a touch of bitumen. First introduced to the Wines of Henri Bonneau a few years ago in CDP in a restaurant where I was lucky enough to have had a “Celestines “ which was a WOW Wine for me. Henri passed away last year but his Wines live on Current vintages made by his son.

One of the greatest wines I’ve ever tasted. Remarkably similar to the younger vintage I recently had, though here the garrigue is just off the charts.
