It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Beautiful nose with nice complexity.

Dry and fruity on the palate, and elegant with medium acidity.

Showing blackberries, black currants, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, espresso, cola, herbs, licorice, black pepper, tobacco leaf, chocolates, light earth and Indian spices.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This Single Vineyard is soft and elegant, and so tasty with chocolate and licorice notes. Complex and good right out of the bottle.

Still young, but already delicious, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years. I had it a year ago and it is already drinking better.

Good by itself or with food. Will pair nicely with a big piece of steak.

Aged for 21 months in 75% new American oak barrels, and the rest in neutral French Oak. A small production of only 1,200 bottles.

15.2% alcohol by volume.

93 points.

Gaderian Wines Henry Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, Napa Valley, California

It’s time for a delicious Cabernet for my
#FridayCabernetfix.

Deep purple in color with a wide purplish rim.

Fruity nose of blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, earth, light vegetables, chocolates, tobacco, licorice, herbs and peppercorn.

Medium plus in body and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cherries, spices, tobacco leaf, licorice, chocolates, vanilla, cedar, earth, herbs, peppercorn and pencil lead.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries and red chili powder.

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Still very young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature, but already very yummy.

Elegant and rich, with nice complexity and good structure. The high alcohol is not too noticeable.

Will age nicely in the next 10 years, and shows good potential to become a 94+ point wine.

Needs an hour to open up and bring the tannins to the game.
Gets earthier as it opens up.

A great wine to have all by itself, or with a nice piece of steak. I paired it with cheeses, meats and crackers.

Aged in (75% new) American oak barrels for 21 months. A tiny production of only four barrels.

15.2% alcohol by volume.

92 points.
