Cab Franc really comes through with violets jumping out of the glass. Drinking at its peak

Oh that "Rutherford dust". Old world style, balance, restraint, respect for terroir. Not an overripe, over-extracted Napa fruit bomb. Opened up beautifully over the course of the meal, can only imagine how great it will be in a few years.

Haven't had Frog's Leap in years, this bottle brought me right back to the classic dusty Rutherford cabs that I loved 15-20 years ago. Balanced and great with a steak, and by itself afterwards, while finishing the bottle (only 13.5 ABV--drinkable, imagine that).

Amazing. Showcases black cherry, cassis, sage and cedar. Billy loves. Really great with a mild soft cheese.

Started strong and smooth. Fell apart toward the end. Good dusty Rutherford cab.

Really nice cab, not overripe. Lots of respect for the grapes, John Williams blew my mind at 190X

1997 and amazing, drank spot on for 3days. Was still young and fresh tight tannin on first night, plush the second.
