I second William Allen's vote. Bill is an unsung hero of California Rhones. Great bright strawberry, cherry and subtle lavender nose. What a great food wine. Paired especially well with rack of lamb. I just wish I had more of this.

Opened 3 2007 Sonoma Counth Grenaches tonight - only Frick went the distance. Color vibrant brick red, nose still fresh with strawberry, cherry & Classic Grenache red hard candy notes. Playful red fruit in mouth that dances on tongue and nice structure - a wine that's just fun to quaff and enjoy. Nice job Bill Frick - one of the unsung Sonoma rhone heroes, and one of my early inspirations who doesn't get a fraction of the recognition he deserves -and probably doesn't give a hoot as long as people like the wine :)
