One of the prettiest wines I have had in a long time. Think fruit basket surrounded by a fragrant floral arrangement. Pale gold with copper highlights showing some of its age. Initial blast of oxidized apple blows of quickly revealing intense and complex layers of petrol, baked apple, orange peel, tangerine, ripe peach, honeysuckle and hazelnuts. Rich round mouth with smooth texture, moderate viscosity and body. Acidity emerges late on the palate with mouthwatering refreshment. Low in alcohol (10%abv) and moderate residual sugar (75 g/l?) with excellent integration and extremely well balanced. Well structured and highly aromatic it should gain further complexity with 5-7 years if not more!

Thoroughly enjoyable wine. Lovely balance and while a bit flat due to age, it is delightful on the palate and wonderful on the finish. A lovely food wine. Very enjoyable.

Pretty Riesling, 1990 misses some acidity after all these years but shows an incredible body, and a very nice and intensive finish.

Delicious and expressive (due to the sandier soils). Dry, but with just enough RS to keep it balanced.
