Frédéric Magnien
Lavaut St. Jacques Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Pinot Noir
Blind tasting fun. Definitely a great glass of wine.

Jan 22nd, 2015Pop and pour. On the nose: pine needle, cola, dusty blackberry, mulberry leaf. On the palate: excellent acidity, damp earth, bark, mulberry. Lacking some concentration/density on the mid, but a nice juicy finish with very soft tannin.

Nov 7th, 2017Torn. Needed to pick up some wine from east bank but didn’t get it done this week. Do I not have wine with prime ribeye, or do I crack one of my favorites that I had hoped to keep for a bit longer... and, now I have one fewer. :)

Nov 4th, 2017Very nice. Solid value and drinking very well right now. Maybe a touch heavy handed than I prefer but beautiful nonetheless.
