nose gives: tar, violets, wet old wood, cedar, animal funk, a little ripe cranberry, vinyl, moldy black cherry... palate gives lots of sawdust, moldy old wet wood, dried black cherries, balsamic, charcuterie. a blend of wood, meat, dried cherries, and balsamic. unusually treated pinot. california + piedmontish?
