Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Run by brothers Carlo and Lorenzo, located in Frazione Annunziata in commune of La Morra, hand harvested. Medium Garnet with intense aromas of red fruits, oak and earthy notes. On the developing palate flavors of sour cherry, currants, toasty smoky oak and earthy herbs. Generous acidity, full body with big fine tannins on long finish ending with earthy character. Very good now but will get better in the cellar. Tasting Sample.

So far, the best Langhe Nebbiolo. No aging needed... At 4 years young, it's amazing how approachable this wine is. This deep red with a sly red-pink-tanning rim. A little rose on the nose. A hint of anise. The acidity is largely subsiding, tannins are firm and embracing. It's running down the glass gracefully. Add a slight vegetal aroma--rosemary?

Darrell Lea Raspberry Liquorice Twists on the nose, with hints of cherry cola and vanilla. Red fruit with a tarry undercurrent on the palate, plus bright acid and driving tannins. Enjoying this.
