This little Langhe over performs for its price and went very well with Cinnamon's butter roasted vegetable pasta. It has all the tar and roses, but none of the oak or heat that more ambitious bottlings often have. It doesn't have the complexity or texture that an older bottle from a better appellation would have, but it was so drinkable that it disappeared quickly!

2011 Finally feels like fall. With Castelmagno, Taleggio, and 'Music FromBig Pink.' I'm in love with Nebbiolo.

It always amazes me how much better wines show after selling out for good. This has blossomed into a tarry, dark fruited and virile Barolo stand in after six months settling in the cellar. I am glad I still have most of my case!

Young and tight, but a huge bottle of wine and amazing value. Nose is restrained out of the bottle. Medium red fruit, spice, leather. Lots of tannin structure but good with hearty food already. Big and juicy. Should be superb in a couple of years.

See through, slight pepper, light but weird syrupy flavor that kills it for me, raspberry is nice but sweet!

Sharp sweet nose of violet and red fruits, a background note of jasmine tea, good medium grained tannins. Not too complex but pretty great still
