Susucaru Dry Terre Siciliane Nerello Mascalese

Fresh and bright with false effervescence that blows off with some air. Ash, olive brine, and tart cranberry notes. Bit of funk not over the top or overly complex. Makes me crave grilled salmon with a teriyaki glaze.

So good! Could happily only drink this for the rest of my life!

Natty, tannin, great chilled

Day three: still showing bright, fresh, and playful. Ash and brine, with kriek beer/framboise elements. A balance of fruit forward and dry, peppery notes. All in all an easy drinker, perhaps too highly esteemed by wine geeks, because it’s not accessible and affordable enough to be a daily drinker. Interested to taste the Rosato and looking forward to the 2019.

Tart cran-apple juice, dry, mineraly, medium bodied, nice natural vibe after taste. Great back to school wine ;)

Tart introduction and then soft strawberries and cranberries on the tongue. Quick kick of tartness again as it ends. But the color! Beautiful blue-violet aura in the glass.
