Damn this wine is delicious. Barrel sample, so very primary, but wonderful pineapple juice with honey, had with Jamaican curried goat, downed the whole bottle.

I love this man as much as I love his wines. Francois is one of the kindest and most sincere people that I've ever met. His wines reflect his personality, in my opinion: honest, sincere, of place, and with purpose.

Heaps of wet wool, honeyed esters, little gym sock funk. Let it warm a bit and the fruit starts to show. Stone fruits & lots of oxidation. True to terroir but not the best Vouvray can produce.

Opens quite funky - earthy & wooly. After air time it opens up tremendously. Honeyed, ripe, & lasting. Yellow peach, ripe apricots, Bartlett pear, & all have fantastic length. Blooming honeysuckle, wet slate, & steely minerality give it depth. Continues to evolve & improve until the bottle is gone.

The purity of this producer always shines. Deep crystalline flavors.
