First red I have tried from François Mikulski, who resides in Mersault - his whites are beautiful, and this one doesn't disappoint either. Gorgeous juicy fruit aroma, full of tart, tightly wound red fruit, mushroom, and foliage, with pink peppercorn and clove spice.

First time with the reds, but a good value and well balanced. Bright cherries, acid show in a light bodied bourgogne. Popped and poured and it went to quick like a song always knew.

Very solid for the price point which is par for the course with Mikulski. Give this an hour or two to open up. The fruit dominates on pop n pour. The secondary flavors need some air to surface.

Bourgogne Pinot Noir. One of my favorite producers. For an entry level Burg this is pretty good. Tart red fruit, acidity and a little earthy, mushroom finish.
