very pretty and light on its feet. pure chenin aromas and flavor with underpinning of slate:mineral. Really nice.

These wines are so damn good. Age worthy and intriguing. Mineral but rich. Love it. The price is ridiculously low for these gems

Beautiful bouquet upon opening. Orange zest, quince, pear and cantaloupe explode from the glass. Crazy minerals too, a strong granitic quality. The palate is rich, round, chewy, but structured with a nice bit of RS. The heft and volume is impressive, but also kind of overbearing at this stage. Like a lot of ‘18 Loire Chenins lacks some acid relative to richness. Just needs to shed its baby fat.

13% abv, high acid, honey, candied apricot, lime, red plum, red cherry, chalk. Medium + intensity and finish.

Musk, dried flowers, marzipan, lime, Meyer lemon, overripe apricot, canned peach. Elevated acidity. Medium+ alcohol.

Hiding in my cellar like that, but I can’t stay mad at you! Absolute golden color. The mineral, lanolin, and brioche nose gives way to chamomile, apricots yellow apple, quince, and honey flavors. Rounded mouth feel, but no perceptible residual sugars. I really am a sucker for a dry Chenin Blanc. MY wife found a killer Spring Valley goat cheese from Chester Spring, PA to have with this wine.

Oh rich and ripe! And damn tasty. Another First the Wine darling, the color says: obsess about me. The nose says I have some ripe tropical AND domestic fruits for ya. Sipping you think sour overripe lemon and orange with squeezes of ripe lemon juice. But a glass of this has been sitting in fields of honeysuckle dancing with all the limestone babies.

Gold color. Honey. Apple cider. Broad, modest acidity. Mineral.

Need to drink more Chenin. Honey and apricot balanced by great acidity.
