Great value, $13.99 or so. Wild fruit, earth, dusty tannins, great acid. Lasagna night.

Garnet color with black cherries and plum on the nose and a little heat. Full bodied with some nice mouth feel mid-palate. Good acidity, but nicely balanced. Expected a bit more tannins up front. Detecting them more so in the pleasantly long finish. Blueberries, plums and pomegranates round out a blue fruit dominant taste profile. I could imagine enjoying this with a steak and rosemary seasoned oven roasted potatoes.

Yum!! What a delicious Barbera. Bold and richly fruity. Dangerously drinkable. Bought at The Mediterranean Way Market in Dupont Circle, DC.

A nice slightly acidic Italian red. Not dry and has a touch of acidity. Great wine to serve over dinner, but more so to guests who may not be red lovers. Crowd pleaser.

2021. Really nice fruity wine (even better on 1/2 price bottle night) at one of my favorite pizzerias!

2020 Vintage. Dry, dry, managed tannins and acidicness…nice balance but weak on flavor be it berries or whatever red-purple fruit one deems.

Really like this one! Medium body… tart at start with bready, earthy finish. Doesn’t last long but is nice.

Tasty! Prototypical Italian DOC. Nothing fancy but works well with food.
