Long earthy finish, some berries, well blended. My Family and I enjoyed this wine with spaghetti and meatballs!

Medium garnet and a fully developed nose with notes of mushrooms, tobacco leaf, cedar, game, black cherries, dark plums and hints of anise and blue flowers.
Bone-dry and very austere in the mouth with a firm tannic structure and marked acidity, but showing fruit too. Much more approachable on the second day, albeit ot has lost the complexity it displayed initially. Not for everybody, but it is very interesting.
