Pur Mesnil indeed. Popped yesterday, and this was kind of a mess showing disjointed with a bit too much nervous energy and aggressive mousse. Turns out it just needed time. Much better today as the mousse has softened. I would say this deserves a decant if you need to drink this now. No disg info on the btl.
Notes from 24 hrs open, in the fridge overnight. On the nose: lemon, vanilla cream, soft marzipan, and loads of Mesnil chalk. On the palate: stunning acidity, altogether more well-put-together; grapefruit, loads of chalk and wet stone, lemon oil and a kiss of vanilla. Juicy and vibrant finish. This needs a **lot** of time if this btl is representative.
